YouTube megastar MrBeast has officially married his longtime partner, Thea Booysen, in an intimate ceremony on Sir Richard Branson’s exclusive Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.
The creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, exchanged vows with the South African author and content creator during a private celebration attended by close family and friends.
The wedding marked the latest milestone in a relationship that has captured the attention of millions of fans around the world since the couple first went public in 2022.
Donaldson confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing a series of dreamy wedding photographs from the ceremony.
“I found MrsBeast ❤️❤️❤️ and it was the best day of my life,” he captioned the post, introducing his followers to the couple’s first official moments as husband and wife.
The wedding took place on the picturesque 74-acre Necker Island, the luxury private island owned by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson. Known for its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and exclusive villas, the Caribbean retreat has long been a destination for high-profile weddings and celebrity holidays.
The newlyweds opted for an intimate celebration with approximately 70 guests made up primarily of their closest family members and friends.
The festivities began on July 14 and unfolded over a week-long island retreat, allowing guests to enjoy the destination before the couple exchanged vows.
Visitors took part in several luxury experiences throughout the week, including kitesurfing sessions, snorkeling adventures, beach games and guided excursions across the island.
Booysen wore a custom-designed wedding gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while Donaldson chose a timeless Ralph Lauren tuxedo for the ceremony.
The couple shared their first dance as newlyweds to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ hit collaboration Die With a Smile, setting the tone for an elegant yet understated reception.
Donaldson and Booysen’s relationship began in early 2022 after they met during one of the YouTuber’s visits to South Africa.
