Digital influencer Nana Owiti has opened up about being ready to give marriage another shot after her separation in 2024 ended a 13-year relationship with rapper King Kaka.

During a lively Instagram Q&A, the mother of two made it clear she isn’t closing the door on love, however she notes she is just approaching it with a sharper filter and stricter fine print.

“Hey Nana will you give marriage a second chance?” a fan asked.

Her reply quickly caught attention: “Wueh! Tempo imeanza juu. Marriage? Of Course! Though this time I’m reading the terms and conditions before clicking ‘I agree’,”

The former TV host also noted she agrees with a 50-50 relationship, a major gender wars and controversial dating expectation that has been a mainstay on social media for years.

Nana argues that her belief remains that partners should split household finances right down the middle, but with emotional care still firmly on the table.

“What’s your take on 50/50 in marriages specifically finances?” another follower asked.

“I’m all for 50/50 in marriage. I’ve always believed partnership means sharing the financial load together though even in that balance your partner should never forget you’re still his woman, you need to be cared for, considered and loved beyond the bills,” she said.

Her candid responses sparked online buzz, blending humor, realism, and a touch of relationship reality-check energy that many fans say feels all too familiar.

Nana Owiti and her ex-husband King Kaka were together for 13 years and built one of Kenya’s most admired celebrity relationships, often sharing family moments and supporting each other’s careers publicly.

The couple, who share two children together, announced their separation in December 2024 after months of speculation surrounding their relationship.
