Tanasha Donna Shares Receipts to Address BBL Debt Claims

NAIROBI, Kenya – Singer and entrepreneur Tanasha Donna has broken her silence on claims surrounding her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), sharing payment records and messages to dispute allegations that she left an unpaid cosmetic surgery bill.

Tanasha has addressed two separate financial claims that have recently resurfaced online.

The first involves a Sh815,000 bill from Nairobi-based cosmetic clinic Body By Design, dating back to her BBL procedure in 2021/2022.

The second involves a separate allegation by social media personality and businessman Madollar Mapesa, who claimed that Tanasha borrowed US$26,000, approximately Sh3.3 million, to finance her surgery.

Tanasha has denied the latter claim and says she has provided documentation to support her account of the Body By Design dispute.

Tanasha explains Sh815,000 Body By Design bill

According to Tanasha’s account, she initially planned to pay for her procedure herself before Body By Design proposed a promotional arrangement.

Under the proposed collaboration, she would document aspects of her surgery and recovery for a YouTube episode, effectively incorporating the procedure into promotional content for the clinic.

However, Tanasha says complications following the procedure affected the arrangement.

She said she had requested local anaesthesia because of her fears surrounding general anaesthesia but alleged that she was instead given general anaesthesia without her consent.

The subsequent recovery period, according to her account, prevented her from following the original content schedule.

With the promotional arrangement no longer proceeding as planned, Tanasha said she agreed to settle the cost of the procedure.

She said the initial amount communicated to her was Sh635,000, but the figure later increased to Sh815,000.

The Sh180,000 difference became part of the dispute between the singer and the clinic.

Rather than refusing to settle the bill, Tanasha says she entered negotiations with the clinic’s legal representatives and agreed to pay the amount through instalments.

She has now shared transaction records that she says show she completed the payments.

Her response is aimed at challenging the narrative that she underwent the procedure and left the clinic without settling what she owed.

Tanasha shares receipts as proof

The singer used her social media platforms to present what she described as evidence of the payments. The records include payment receipts and messages relating to discussions over the outstanding amount.

Tanasha’s position is that although there was a disagreement over the final bill, she ultimately honoured the payment arrangement.

The receipts therefore form the centrepiece of her response to the long-running claims.

She denies links to Risper Faith

Tanasha also addressed claims linking her BBL dispute to socialite Risper Faith.

She denied having any financial relationship with Risper and said her interaction with her was limited to asking about her personal experience at Body By Design before she booked the procedure.

Tanasha said she did not have any financial arrangement with Risper and rejected suggestions that the two were connected through the disputed payment.

Tanasha denies Sh3.3 million Madollar loan

Separately, Tanasha has strongly denied an allegation made by businessman Madollar Mapesa.

Mapesa claimed that he had loaned Tanasha US$26,000, equivalent to about Sh3.3 million, to finance her BBL. According to reports, he further claimed that the amount had grown to more than Sh4 million after interest.

Tanasha has rejected the allegation entirely. She says she has never met, spoken to or interacted with Mapesa, and therefore disputes the claim that he provided her with money for the procedure.

She has challenged him to provide evidence supporting his allegation, including transaction records, communication between them or details showing when and where the alleged loan was arranged.

Singer threatens legal action

The renewed claims have also prompted Tanasha to involve her lawyers. She has said she is pursuing legal action over what she describes as false claims about her finances and the BBL procedure.

Her legal team is reportedly reviewing the material surrounding the allegations, with Tanasha maintaining that some of the claims have been circulated for attention and online engagement.
