NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenyan content creator Baba Talisha has remembered his late wife, Milka Faustina, popularly known as Mama T, six years after her death in a tragic road accident.
Baba Talisha marked the anniversary on August 15, 2026, sharing an emotional tribute to Mama T and reflecting on the memories, love and lessons she left behind.
Mama T died on August 15, 2020, following a road accident along the Thika Superhighway. Her death left Baba Talisha raising their young daughter, Talisha, who also survived the accident.
Six years later, Baba Talisha said the passage of time has not erased the memories of his late wife.
“15th August 2020 — a day that changed our lives forever. Today marks 6 years since Mama T left us, yet her love, memories, and presence remain deeply rooted in our hearts,” he wrote.
Rather than focusing solely on the circumstances of Mama T’s death, Baba Talisha used the anniversary to celebrate the woman she was and the memories she created with those close to her.
He described her as someone whose strength, kindness and laughter made her impossible to forget.
The content creator reflected on the impact Mama T had on their lives, noting that the lessons she taught them continue to remain relevant years after her death.
His tribute also highlighted the enduring place she holds within their family. Baba Talisha said her presence continues to be felt through their daughter, Talisha, whose life serves as part of Mama T’s lasting legacy.
Baba Talisha had previously spoken publicly about the crash and the devastating effect it had on his family.
According to earlier accounts, he was driving the family vehicle after a photoshoot when another vehicle collided with them. The impact caused their car to crash into other stationary vehicles.
Mama T, who was seated in the front passenger seat while holding their infant daughter, died in the accident. Their daughter survived but sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment.
The tragedy became one of the defining moments of Baba Talisha’s life and later influenced his journey as a father and content creator.
