NAIROBI, Kenya – Boma International Hospitality College (BIHC) is celebrating a decade of growth with a significant financial milestone: crossing the Sh3 billion revenue mark in 2024, up from just Sh15 million in 2015.
The institution credits this impressive leap to its industry-driven training model and global outlook.
Founded by the Kenya Red Cross Society and Boma PanAfrican, BIHC has evolved into a regional force in hospitality education, blending academic rigor with real-world skills.
“We’re not just teaching hospitality we’re building futures,” the college noted.
Today, BIHC boasts a job placement network across 47 countries, including the US, UAE, UK, and Spain, making it a go-to destination for students seeking global careers in hospitality.
Since 2024, BIHC has trained over 1,300 youth and small business owners through fully sponsored programs, in collaboration with African Unlimited, Switch Media, and the Tourism Fund.
These initiatives target women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
In addition to training, BIHC’s consulting services for organizations like Ethiopian Airlines and Kenyatta National Hospital have expanded its revenue streams and industry relevance.
