Media personality Claudia Naisabwa has secured a major breakthrough in sports media after officially partnering with the Basketball Africa League (BAL) as its lead creator and digital champion for Season 6.
The appointment places Naisabwa at the center of one of Africa’s fastest-growing sports platforms as the league enters its high-stakes playoff phase.
Her signing aligns with the BAL Season 6 playoffs and Final 8 tournament currently taking place at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, with the competition running through May 31, 2026.
In her new position, Naisabwa will serve as the digital face and host of the league while also leading content creation efforts designed to connect basketball with African lifestyle and entertainment culture.
The role marks her first official corporate signing in the sports industry and represents another significant milestone in her media career.
Known for her work as an award-winning television presenter, event host, Naisabwa has built a strong reputation in East Africa’s entertainment industry over the years.
Through digital storytelling, courtside experiences and lifestyle-focused content, she will help showcase the atmosphere, personalities and energy that shape the BAL experience.

Naisabwa explained that she had admired the league’s culture from afar before becoming directly involved.

During the group-stage stages of the competition, Naisabwa openly supported Nairobi City Thunder during their BAL campaign.
