NAIROBI, Kenya — Victor Kanyari, founder of Salvation Healing Ministry, has declared that he will one day become Kenya’s president, describing his ambition as a “prophetic” certainty and predicting a landslide victory.
Speaking during a Sunday service on April 26, 2026, Kanyari told congregants that his path to national leadership was predetermined and that he would eventually secure overwhelming support from voters.
“And one day I will become the president of Kenya, and I will win with a landslide victory,” he said.
The preacher went further to outline a projected political sequence, suggesting he would assume power after DP Kithure Kindiki, whom he predicted could first ascend to the presidency.
“I will win with very many votes. After Deputy President Kindiki later manages to become president, then I will be the next president after him,” Kanyari stated, framing his remarks as prophetic declarations rather than conventional political ambitions.
His comments come amid an evolving political landscape ahead of the 2027 General Election, where new entrants and unconventional candidates have increasingly signaled interest in top leadership positions.
Kanyari also acknowledged that such bold pronouncements often attract public scrutiny and online backlash, suggesting that controversy is part of gaining visibility in modern discourse.
“If you want to keep trending and be trolled online, you start talking and sharing the kind of things I am speaking about,” he said.
In the same address, Kanyari made claims about social media personality Marion Naipei, alleging she had not abandoned alcohol consumption despite previously associating with his ministry.

He recounted an incident during a recent campaign outing where, according to him, Naipei became intoxicated and behaved in a manner he described as disruptive and inconsistent with the event’s purpose.
Kanyari alleged that she confronted members of the public and discouraged them from supporting his campaign.
“We had gone out during my campaigns, and she got so drunk that she even forgot she was with me… she told people we don’t need their votes,” he claimed.
The preacher further alleged that he had to intervene to de-escalate the situation and remove her from the public setting, adding that she remained heavily intoxicated afterward.
