NAIROBI, Kenya-DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has praised Embakasi West residents for turning out in large numbers during a series of rallies led by DCP Secretary-General designate and Nyandarua Senator John Methu.
Gachagua said Nairobi City County must remain committed to justice, constitutionalism and the rule of law amid growing concerns over political violence and intimidation.
He warned that the rise of organised goons in Nairobi and escalating political lawlessness across the country had weakened investor confidence by creating an unsafe environment for businesses.
“Nairobians deserve to operate in a secure and conducive environment, free from the threat of violence and intimidation,” Gachagua said.
He said Embakasi West residents had demonstrated resilience by attending the rallies and expressing their frustrations ahead of the 2027 General Election.
“Asanteni sana, Kanairo, for your continued support of my team led by Senator Methu and other dedicated members of the DCP,” he added.
The Embakasi West rallies formed part of DCP’s ongoing grassroots mobilisation campaign in Nairobi as the party seeks to expand its support ahead of the elections.
