NAIROBI, Kenya — If you’ve been eyeing a position in Kenya’s public sector, now’s your moment.
Three major institutions — the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice (OAG&DOJ), Rongo University, and NACADA — have opened applications for various roles, offering a range of opportunities from clerical to executive finance positions.
OAG&DOJ Is Hiring: 22 Roles Up for Grabs
In a recent MyGov advertisement, the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice announced 22 job openings across several departments. If you’ve got a knack for numbers or a passion for public communication, this could be your cue.
Here’s what they’re looking for:
- 10 Accountants
- 2 Public Communication Officers
- 10 Clerical Officers
To apply, candidates must pick up an official application form directly from the OAG&DOJ offices. All submissions are due by May 16, 2025.
In a statement, Solicitor General Shadrack Mose emphasized the office’s commitment to inclusivity, encouraging women, youth, persons with disabilities, and applicants from marginalized areas to apply. “OAG&DOJ is an equal employer committed to diversity and gender equality within the organisation,” he said.

- 2 Registrar Positions (Academic Affairs and Planning)
- 1 Farm Manager
- 3 Grade 12 Lecturers in Special Needs Education
If you’re applying, keep in mind: references are required, and those referees must send sealed letters directly to the university. No pressure, but make sure your mentors have good things to say.
NACADA Is Searching for a Finance Head
Last but certainly not least, the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) is looking for a heavy-hitter to take up the role of Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts.
Applicants must include:

Submissions can be sent via email (careers@nacada.go.ke) or delivered as hard copies, addressed to the CEO of NACADA. The deadline? May 27, 2025. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
