PrecisionCore Printheads: The Future of Digital Printing
The demand for commercial and industrial inkjet printers is on the rise, driven by a shift from analog to digital printing in sectors beyond traditional paper media, such as digital textile printing.
Epson’s PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads, known for their flexibility, are key to this transition. These printheads can be adapted for various applications by assembling MicroTFP print chips in different combinations, making them highly versatile.
Epson anticipates further growth in the use of PrecisionCore printheads, not only in commercial and industrial printers but also in high-speed linehead inkjet multifunction printers.
The company is strengthening its printhead sales business to accelerate inkjet innovation and broaden the applications for digital printing, which is significantly more eco-friendly than conventional methods.
Epson is also exploring collaborations with partners who bring fresh ideas and technologies, aiming to expand the possibilities of PrecisionCore technology through open innovation.
