NTV Names Fellaris Wambui ‘Fixing The Nation’ Co-Host After Janet Mbugua’s Exit

Date:

NTV has announced a fresh addition to its morning lineup, naming former Capital FM presenter Fellaris Wambui as the new co-host of its morning show dubbed Fixing The Nation, following the exit of media personality Janet Mbugua.

Wambui is set to officially make her on-air debut on Monday, April 20, 2026, where she will join seasoned journalist Eric Latiff alongside co-host Mariam Bishar in steering the program’s daily conversations.

This comes shortly after Mbugua signed off from the show on April 17, 2026, closing a notable chapter that lasted one year and two months.

Mbugua’s departure marked the end of a tenure that helped shape the show’s tone around civic engagement and national discourse.

Wambui steps into the role with a profile that blends media experience and corporate expertise.

She is widely recognized for her years at Capital FM, where she earned a reputation as the station’s “Breakfast Queen,” co-hosting ‘Capital in the Morning’ and anchoring ‘The Financial Forecast’, a program that unpacked economic trends and market movements for a broad audience.

Wambui is also the brains behind Womanish By TGC, a storytelling platform focused on amplifying women’s voices and advancing gender equity across Africa.
