Award-winning Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has set social media abuzz after unveiling a major real estate project in Ruaka, Kiambu County.
The “Yes Bana” hitmaker recently shared a video showing himself supervising construction works at a site he suggested will become a new mall, marking a bold step into business beyond music.
In the clip posted on his social platforms on April 17, 2026, Khaligraph is seen on-site with his team, inspecting ongoing construction.
The rapper even invited potential tenants to start booking spaces early, hinting that the development is intended to be a commercial hub.
“A new mall coming up… if you want to book, talk to my guy,” he said in the video.
The project, still under construction, has already drawn attention due to its scale and the artist’s increasing involvement in business ventures.
The mall will house his Omollo Merch store, a retail outlet for his custom merchandise line.
This positions the development as both a commercial investment and a strategic move to expand his brand into physical retail
The announcement has triggered mixed reactions online.
Many fans praised Khaligraph Jones for diversifying his income streams and stepping into real estate, with some calling him a blueprint for artists looking to build wealth beyond music.
Others, however, questioned the scale and speed of his investments, especially amid other recent high-value purchases.
Khaligraph Jones, often referred to as “OG,” has in recent years positioned himself not just as a rapper but as an entrepreneur.
As construction progresses, more details are expected to emerge regarding the scale of the development, available retail spaces and official opening timeline.
