Aga Khan Hospital Confirms Death After Person Falls From Building

NAIROBI, Kenya — Aga Khan University Hospital has confirmed that an individual died after falling from one of its buildings, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the hospital said the person fell from one of its facilities in Nairobi and was pronounced dead.

“Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, can confirm that an individual fell from one of our buildings and sadly passed on,” the hospital said.

The institution did not disclose the identity of the deceased, their relationship to the hospital, or details surrounding the incident. Hospital management said it was cooperating with relevant authorities as investigations continue.

The incident has drawn attention to safety and security protocols at major public and private institutions, although officials have not released any preliminary findings on what may have led to the fall.

Aga Khan University Hospital expressed sympathy to the bereaved family and those affected by the tragedy.
