ST. PETERSBURG, Russia – Kanye West’s upcoming Russia concerts have triggered a major ticket rush, with the cheapest ticket category selling out within an hour and the most expensive VIP packages disappearing within hours of going on sale.

The American rapper, now known as Ye, is scheduled to perform two concerts at Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg on October 10 and 11, 2026.

While the shows have not completely sold out across all ticket categories, the rapid disappearance of tickets at both ends of the pricing scale has highlighted strong demand for Ye’s first major Russian performances.

The concerts are expected to attract tens of thousands of fans to the 70,000-plus-capacity stadium.

Tickets for the Russia concerts went on sale with prices starting at approximately 9,000 Russian rubles, or about US$106. According to reports citing Russian state news agency TASS and local organisers, the cheapest category sold out within just one hour.

The rapid sales continued across the premium end of the market. Luxury VIP box packages priced at approximately 160,000 rubles, equivalent to around US$1,885, also sold out within hours.

Standard dance-floor tickets reportedly cost around 25,000 rubles, while other seating categories sit between the entry-level and VIP prices.

Ye will take the stage at Gazprom Arena, one of Russia’s largest stadiums.

The October concerts would also mark a significant moment in Ye’s international career because they would place him among the most prominent Western entertainers to perform in Russia since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Ye will become one of the highest-profile American music stars to stage major performances in the country during that period.

The Russia shows come as Ye has faced increasing difficulties performing in parts of the Western world. The rapper has faced cancellations, restrictions and criticism following a series of antisemitic statements and other controversial public remarks.

His career has also suffered major commercial consequences, including the loss of business partnerships and restrictions surrounding some performances.

The rush for tickets has reportedly been accompanied by increased interest in travel to St Petersburg. Local agencies have reported a rise in hotel bookings and train reservations linked to the concert dates.
