The Registrar of Political Parties said the money will be released to eligible parties on a quarterly basis once funds are received from the National Treasury.

“The allocated funds will be disbursed quarterly upon receipt from the National Treasury,” RPP CEO John Lorionokou said.

The Political Parties Fund is established under Kenya’s political parties framework to support eligible political parties in accordance with the law.

The latest allocations come as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 General Election, with major formations expanding grassroots mobilisation, recruiting members and negotiating possible alliances.

UDA’s position as the largest beneficiary gives the ruling party access to significantly more public funding than any other political formation listed in the gazette notice, while ODM remains the second-largest beneficiary.
