NAIROBI, Kenya- Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has met DCP Leader Rigathi Gachagua at a gathering of Kenyans living in the United States, saying their discussions covered jobs, healthcare, education and economic growth.
Salasya said Gachagua hosted Kenyans from several states at a home near Dallas, Texas. He described the meeting as an opportunity to exchange ideas on Kenya’s future.
“I was particularly encouraged by his strong commitment to addressing some of the key challenges facing Kenyans, including job creation, healthcare, education, and economic growth,” Salasya said in a statement.
The MP said the gathering gave participants a chance to discuss how Kenyans at home and abroad could contribute to the country’s development. He did not announce a political agreement or provide details of any proposals reached during the meeting.
Gachagua has been holding engagements with Kenyans in the United States during his diaspora tour.
