NAIROBI, Kenya- Kenya’s sports industry is about to get a significant upgrade with the upcoming Talanta Sports Stadium, a landmark project that promises to redefine Kenya’s sporting landscape.
President William Ruto, who inspected the construction progress on Tuesday afternoon, expressed confidence that the 60,000 seater facility would be completed by the end of next year, well in time for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
During his visit, President Ruto emphasized the urgency of the project, stating, “I have come here today to inspect the progress of the construction works of this stadium. We will employ more people to ensure the work is completed before the end of next year.”
