Digital content creator Ivy Namu has officially confirmed the end of her relationship with media personality and corporate MC Willis Raburu.
The announcement came on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, when Ivy shared a brief statement on her Instagram Stories, confirming that the couple had chosen to part ways.
“Willis Raburu and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Ivy wrote. “Kindly respect our privacy at this moment.”
The statement, though brief, marked the end of a relationship that evolved from a highly publicized romance into a growing family, with the couple welcoming two children together.
As of the time of publication, Raburu had not publicly addressed the separation or issued a statement on any of his social media platforms.
Ivy and Willis emerged as one of Kenya’s most talked-about celebrity couples following Raburu’s previous highly publicized breakup.
After the highly publiscised split with Marya Prude, Raburu quickly moved on with Namu and on July 5, 2021, the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Mali.
Just over a year later, the couple celebrated another significant chapter. In July 2022, during Mali’s first birthday party, Raburu surprised Ivy with an engagement ring in front of family and friends.
The romantic proposal featured musician Nviiri the Storyteller, who serenaded Ivy as Raburu went down on one knee, creating a memorable moment that quickly went viral on social media.
Only weeks after the proposal, the couple expanded their family once again. On September 12, 2022, Ivy and Raburu welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Yara Raburu.
Throughout their years together, the pair often projected stability and happiness, with Ivy becoming a constant presence in Raburu’s personal and public life.
