NAIROBI, Kenya — President William Ruto has received a thought-leadership presentation on the contribution of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda to Vision 2030.

The presentation highlights its role in accelerating delivery over the next five years as Kenya advances its economic transition.

The presentation, held at State House Nairobi, involved a team of experts led by Kisumu County Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o.

Others included Prof Karuti Kanyinga, Prof Oduor Wanyande, Prof Michael Chege, Denis Onyango, and George Omondi, in consultation with members of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.

President Ruto emphasised that the discussions provided valuable insights into policy alignment, economic inclusion, and strategic reforms needed to sustain Kenya’s growth and competitiveness beyond 2030, supporting the country’s vision of achieving first-world economic status.

“The engagement with experts has reinforced our commitment to a coherent long-term development vision for Kenya,” said President Ruto.

The team is expected to continue working closely with the government to shape policies that ensure inclusive economic growth, strengthen governance, and deliver tangible benefits to citizens across all sectors.
